1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.		پناه و توانائی ما خداست که در تنگناها ، مددکار ماست
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,		چو این است ، ترسان نباشیم ما دگرگون شود گر جهان پیش ما
		به ژرفای دریا بلرزد چو کوه دل ما ز بیمش نیاید ستوه
3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah		پرآشوب گردند اگر آب ها به لرزه درآیند اگر کوه ها
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.		یکی رود درشهر قدّوس اوست که شهر خدا خرّم از جوی اوست
5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.		چو اندر میانش خداوند ماست برآن شهر سستی و جنبش کجاست؟
		خداوند او را نگه دار شد پگاهان که خورشید در کار شد
6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.		همه مردمان پر زغرّش شدند همه کشوران پر ز جنبش شدند
		چو آواز قدّوس آید همی گدازیده شد پیش او عالمی
7 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah		خدای توانا که همراه ماست خداوند یعقوب ملجای ماست
8 Come and see the works of the LORD, the desolations he has brought on the earth.		بیائید بر کار او بنگرید چه ویرانگی در جهان شد پدید
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the chariots with fire.		فرو می نشاند همو جنگ ها سراسر به گیتی ، به فرسنگ ها
		کمان بشکند ، می بُرَد نیزه ها بسوزد به آتش هم ارابه ها
10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."		بیاسای و من را خداوند دان که خود برترم از قیاس و گمان
		بخوانند مردم مرا آفرین به گیتی سراسر منم برترین
11 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah		خدای توانا که همراه ماست خداوند یعقوب ملجای ماست
