FarsiNet will design, build, setup, host and maintain your WebPage on FarsiNet.
You will provide the content and upgrades.
You can also participate in design and setup of your WebPage.
If your WebPage attracts more than 10000 hits (Unique Visitors) a day, then there is potential
to generate some revenue to cover its cost. If the page gets over 100,000
visitors a day, FarsiNet might be able to attract some serious advertising.
Advertisers now a days pay, $10-$50/1000 actual visits to their WebSite.
Since only a few percentage (1% - 2%) of visiters to a WebPage also visit
the ads in the page; 100,000 visitors = 1000 - 2000 vistors to Sponsor pages
which translates to a potential income of $20-$100/day
= $600 - $3000/month.
A WebPage having 100,000 visitors a day, costs about $500/month - ISPs charge
extra fee for heavy traffic & MB of data tranfer from the site.
If the site attracts over 1000,000 visitors a day then the page
can attract much better advertising deals.
So, if you have an idea, content or product to offfer to The Global Persian Community,
FarsiNet will absorb the cost of the WebPage untill the
page gets 1000 hits/day. At that time we turn the page into a separate
partnership between you & FarsiNet and go 50-50.
If the page does not attract over 1000 visitors a day after its initial FREE one year,
FarsiNet reserves the right to discontinue the page.
FarsiNet team may decide to continue and host a page even though it does not have a heavy
traffic (depending on the recommendation of FarsiNet Board of Directors, Webpages's
content and its relativity to the FarsiNet's Mission).
WebPage Marketing & Promotion -
As a part of our introductory promotion described above, FarsiNet will register
your Webpage with the Top 10 Search Engines & Directories.
We can also register your home page with hundreds of Internet directories,
search engines, yellow pages and repositories ($49-$299 additional charge).
WebPage Email & Junk Mail -
FarsiNet can also handle all emails for your WebPage. Important emails and
communications are forwarded to your own email address. Our experience shows
that 2-5% of WebPage visitors send an email (feedback, comments, questions,
orders, material submissions, ...). A WebPage also attracts many junk mails.
WebPages with 1000 visits/week attract 10-15 junk mail per week. Higher the traffic, larger the
number of junk mail. FarsiNet can prune a WebPages incoming email or forward
them all directly to your own personal email address, or even use your own
email address in the home page.
Your WebPage's junk email is stored in the "WebPages's Trash Can" for later
review and cleanup.
What is Needed -
The organization or the individual is responsible for providing the initial content and
images in softcopy via email. If images need to be scanned, good quality
pictures or prints should be mailed to;
