Who am I? Why? What for? When?

You say: "I can't go on" God says: My grace is sufficient (II Cor 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)
You say: "I can't figure things out" God says: I will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6)
You say: "I can't do it" God says: you can do all things (Philippians 4:13)
You say: "I'm not able" God says: I am able (II Corinthians 9:8)
You say "It's not worth it" God says: It will be worth it (Romans 8:28)
You say: "I can't forgive myself" God says: I FORGIVE YOU (I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)
You say: "I can't manage" God says: I will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19)
You say: "I'm afraid" God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7)

What is a Hug?
There's something in a simple hug
That always warms the heart;
It welcomes us back home
And makes it easier to part.

A hug's a way to share the joy
And sad times we go through,
Or just a way for friends to say
They like you 'cause you're you.

Hugs are meant for anyone
For whom we really care,
From your grandma to your neighbor,
Or a cuddly teddy bear.

A hug is an amazing thing -
It's just the perfect way
To show the love we're feeling
But can't find the words to say.

It's funny how a little hug
Makes everyone feel good;
In every place and language,
It's always understood.

And hugs don't need new equipment,
Special batteries or parts -
Just open up your arms
And open up your hearts.
A prayer gift for your engagement;
I pray that the fullness of God's blessings be upon your new life with E.
I pray that,your spiritual influence touches the soul of your wife and both of you get a deep grasp of the sovereign grace of God.
I pray that, you love E. the way christ loved the church.
I pray that, you be Humble with her, self-denying, upbuilding and a happy spiritual leader.
I pray that, you cultivate tenderness and strength, to have a patern of initiatve and a listening ear for her and that you accept responsibility for provision and protection in your family, however you and E. share the labor.

ATTITUDE
The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.
Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready.
As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window.
"I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
"Mrs. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just wait."
"That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied.
"Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.
Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged... it's how I arrange my mind.
I already decided to love it ...
"It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up.
I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.
Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open
I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away ... just for this time in my life.
Old age is like a bank account ... you withdraw from what you've put in .
So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories

My Prayer and Statement of Faith for Time of Trouble
There is nothing, No circumstance, No trouble, No testing - That can ever touch me until, first of all, It has gone past God And past Christ, Right through to me. If it has come that far, It has come with great purpose, Which I may not understand at the moment - But as I refuse to become panicky As I lift my eyes up to Him And accept it as come from His throne For some great purpose of blessing to my heart, No sorrow will disturb me, No trial will ever disarm me, No circumstance will cause me to fret For I shall rest in the JOY OF what my Lord is, THAT IS THE REST OF VICTORY.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

Free your heart from hatred.
Free your mind from worries.
Live simply.
Give more.
Expect less.
